Dear Archers, Dear Friends,
As the Chairman of the Organising Committee and on the behalf of the Hungarian Archery Association, I am pleased to invite all the archers and everybody who is interested in archery as a sport to the Eleven 3D Open Competition 2011.
The two-day event E3DO is being held on 18-19 March in HUNGEXPO Budapest Fair Center, in Building A, G and F; the opening ceremony, the competition and also the awarding ceremonies will take place there. FEHOVA (Fishing, Hunting and Arms International Exhibition) will also be held that time, with several interesting shows and programs and with approximately 10.000 visitors a day. The competition is opened to all, we await all the archers who would like to participate in the competition.
On the first day of the competition a qualification field shall be completed by the competitors that will be built up with twenty four standing and two moving ELEVEN 3D targets. With the hunting scenes set up in the hall the competitors can experience the excitement of both hunting and contesting. On the second day the 16 best archers of each categories will compete in the elimination rounds till the finals.
The best archers of the Eleven 3D Open will be rewarded by prizes with a total value of 5000 Euros.

ELEVEN 3D Open and IFAA European Indoor Archery Championship 2011 (EIAC) will be held simultaneously (with different schedules) therefore everyone can attend both at the same time.
The registration fee for the competitors includes the entrance fee of the HUNGEXPO.

18th March 2011. (Friday): Location of the Tournament is Building „F”
09.00 – 18.00 Qualification round 26 targets (24 stationery + 2 moving targets)
4 archers per group, groups are starting every 10 minutes. Detailed time schedule to be released by 10th March, through website, after online registration is closed. Archers are shooting 4 targets (1 arrow on each), in 3 minutes, from each shooting position. (Archers are required to have at least 4 arrows at disposal!) Qualification Ranking will be based on results after 26 targets.
The best 16 archers is advancing to the Elimination Rounds
19th March, 2011. (Saturday): Location of the Tournament is Building „F”
12.30 – 14.00 Elimination Rounds
14.00 - 15.30 Elimination Rounds for best 8 archers
15.30 – 16.30 Semifinals, finals
Detailed time schedule will be released at the end of qualification day. Time schedule of the 3D Tournament will be adjusted to that of EIAC, so that no interference should occur.The organisers will provide the possibility and time for all archers to compete at both the EIAC and the Eleven 3D Open. Archers are shooting 3x3 targets in the Elimination Rounds, the time given is 2 minutes for 3 arrows. In case of any tied scores, shoot-offs will be introduced immediately.

Categories and rules
We await registrations in the following categories:
Bows with sight, bows without sight and traditional bows.
With sight: all types of compound, recurve bow (without limitations). Any type of sights not able to define distances are permitted, except for laser sights. Each participant must have at least 4 identical arrows (in all attributes), each marked with the name and the start number. The material of the arrow is not restricted , can be made of any arrow material. Stabilizers and release aids can be used without restriction.
Without sight:(Barebow, hunting recurve, longbow with window).No type of sights nor any type of marks that can be used for aiming is permitted. Each participant must have at least 4 identical arrows (in all attributes),each marked with the name and the start number. The material of the arrow is not restricted , can be made of any arrow material. Any type of arrow rest and shooting technic can be used. The stabilizer ’s maximum length is 120mm and the maximum width is 70 mm.
Traditional: All types of historical bows without window and arrow rest are permitted. No type of sights nor any type of marks that can be used for aiming is permitted. Each participant must have at least 4 identical arrows (in all attributes),each marked with the name and the start number. Arrow shafts shall only be made of wood but can be fletched with any kind of feathers. String nock is allowed.

Maximal distance to targets is 45 meters. Opportunity for warm-up will be provided.
Scoring during the qualification round are as follows: 10, 8, 5, 0 points.
In the 8 shooter Elimination Rounds and in the finals, 2 archers will be competing against each other on each target. The archer whose arrow is closer to the centre of the 10 ring will receive 1 point for that target, while 0 goes to his/her opponent. The winner is advancing to the next round.
Registration becomes final when payment is received, until that received of payment registrations are only preliminary!
Time limits are considered for received payment.
Payment before 31.12.2010:
EIAC €100, Eleven 3D Open €50, Both competitions €135.
Payment from 01.01.2011 to 28.02.2011:
EIAC €130, Eleven 3D Open €65, Both competitions €165.
Payment from 01.03.2011 to 07.03.2011:
EIAC €150, Eleven 3D Open €75, Both competitions €190.
Registration after 07.03.2011 plus €50 extra cost per person.
